Preface

How lucky and happy a man will be if he has a chance reading his wife’s witing, especially is requested to write something. This lucky, happy man is me, who has good reasons to feel proud of my wife. I take great honor and pleasure in introducing this pamphlet and its writer, Tong Lanlan, to you all. She is a nice wife and takes good care of her husband. Besides, her enthusiasm, innovation and diligence, which influence and impress me deeply, means she also loves her job and study very much. She is so lovely, beautiful, virtuous, gifted,and able-minded that I once described her as the only fish in my sea.

This pamphlet contains her English writing passages from Oct.,2007 to Apr.,2008, covering various topics like life, love, family,finance,society and so on. Her writing is full of optimism and passion for life. Consequently you will never forget her description of her mother, as she reveals a subtle love for parents. On the other hand, there is no doubt that she shows her strong competence of logical thinking and sensible reasoning in her writing, although as a young woman she still has a little sensibility on statements. Nevertheless, for the latest year, she has made rapid progress in English study. As for me, no one else deserves so much love and respect as she does.

I take pride in her progress and avail myself of this opportunity to extend to her my best wishes for her success and happiness.
